Welcome to the Hunt for the Lost Toys Storytrail! If this is your first High Street Safari trail please expand and read the ‘How to Play’ tab after reading the introduction below. You can always find the trail map at the bottom of the page. This trail is an interactive experience, as you visit the storypoints any in order, you’ll collect digital stamps, choose what happens in the story and be able to see the AR characters. Introducing the Luminauts A world of creatures lives secretly right inside our own. They’re called ‘Spectrals’ and they hide in something called the ‘sub-light’ of everyday objects, a layer of the world that we can’t see with our eyes. Most of the spectrals are friendly and harmless... most of them, it’s the ones that misbehave that the Luminauts are there for. This interstellar team of heroes use their unique skills and specially crafted ‘spectralight’ tools to track down spectrals on Earth and put things back in order. They’ve been able to adapt Earth smartphones, just like yours, to act as temporary spectralights, so you’ll be able to join in too and see the spectrals with your own phone. Do what you can to help the Luminauts on their mission and maybe there’ll be a place for you on the team! Now let me introduce the team to you: I’m Nell, the leader of the team. Scan is our tech expert and yoga teacher. Rak is our stealth ninja and a great hair stylist. Azee is our giant cuddle machine and really likes smashing things, and finally, the most see-through member of the team is Jiggle, our half-spectral, four-legged helper, who kind of looks like a walking bubblegum bubble. The Hunt for the Lost Toys Nell, the leader of the Luminauts, has sent you a message! “Hello there young recruit! Thank you for agreeing to help us on this mission. Here’s the situation so far: Not many people know this but Santa’s elves have a group of cousins called imps that also love Christmas! They’ve always enjoyed seeing what the elves do for Santa and this year they wanted to help out. The elves decided to go on holiday and let the imps run the workshop this year. The problem is that not only has this group of ten imps gone missing but so have all of the toys from the workshop. This means there aren’t any toys for Christmas and there isn’t anyone there to make more! We’ve received a mysterious note saying that the imps are trapped in Christmas presents around your location. Your mission is track them down and free the imps. In the meantime, we’ll investigate who is trying to wreck Christmas and find the lost toys!
